What Is Udhiyah/Qurbani?
The word udhiyah means an animal of the ‘an’aam class (i.e., camel, cow, sheep or goat) that is slaughtered during the days of Eid al-Adha because of the Eid and as an act of worship, intending to draw closer to Allaah thereby. This is one of the rituals of Islam prescribed in the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and according to the consensus of the Muslims. The tradition of Udhiyah (also known as Udhiya or Qurbani) is rooted in the story of the Prophet Abraham and his son Ishmael.
Who Does Udhiyah (Qurbani)?
Muslim who possesses the Nisab value must give a Qurbani. So if you are eligible to pay Zakat, you need to offer a Qurbani..
When Do You Complete Udhiyah (Qurbani)?
The sacrifices will be made after Eid prayer, over the three days of Eid. However, you can make a Qurbani order right up until Maghrib time on the third day of Eid (12th Dhul Hijjah),
How we distribute your Qurbani
After we receive your donation, we send confirmation to our partner in the specific country. Our partner then buy Cow/Goat/Sheep and then performs the sacrifice after local Eid prayer by following Islamic guidelines and protocols. After Qurbani they packages the meat, and finally distributes it to local communities.
